  3. Your on-premises Rubrik instances use the Rubrik instance in the windCORES RZ as a replication target and this archives your data in the GREEN S3 cloud.

For DR precaution, the GREEN S3 Cloud keeps the data regionally and technology-redundant, i.e. simultaneously on disk at a windCORES data center location and tape on another windCORES location in the region.

By replicating the data to an independent S3 bucket on tape, the Green S3 Cloud solution provides a logical and physical air gap to protect your data against ransomware.
